very nice. The lighting and everything is wonderful. The only thing that gets me is that the background is...well, having it faded was a good idea, but its just a lil too faded. Just a bit. Fading is usually a good idea for shots like this, but if its too faded its somewhat distracting and plus its just a lil...I dunno, it makes the picture harder to look at for some reason. Or something like that. ^^

I thought about that too, but wasn't sure. In the end I wanted to try something like this, so the faded background is all intentional. I had in mind, how I wanted it to look, it was somewhat clear from the very beginning, when I took the shot. You know, all my macros are so bright, so I wanted to try something else. But, maybe it didn't work out. I still like it :) Thanks for your words. Without you and a few else, that have the time to really give critique, I wouldn't have advanced in photography at all :)

its nothing :hug: I can tell you're the kind of photographer who'd get better as you went along, critique or no critique ^^ and yea, experimenting is always important =3
